So I finally did it. After years of talking about it, I drank the Kool-Aid and bought the 15 inch MacBook Pro. What a beautiful machine. My only complaint is the lack of USB ports. There are only 2, right next to each other. That means I cannot use my wireless aircard, usb flash drive and wireless mouse at the same time. In fact when I am using the aircard, that is the only peripheral I can use.

No worries though, this Targus hub solves the problem quite nicely. Small and compact with a sneaky little feature: a flip up mini USB connection that works as a charger/data cable. Mikey likey.

AC to 5-USB Power Adaptor

This is one super charger if you ask me. The convenience of a larger multi-tap outlet in a much smaller and sleeker package. Since just about all of my gadgets and phones charge via USB, I ordered several for house, shop and travel bag. If you are feeling especially industrious, pair it with your own custom super cable.

Four Port USB Car Charger

Earlier we featured a USB charger travel HUB which great for hotel rooms and the like, but what about a solution for in the car? This dual port charger (2 USB and 2 standard DC ports) fits the bill for us. I particularly like the “tethered” plug aspect of this unit because my vehicle does not have the room for a larger fixed solution. Check it out on Amazon for less than $16 bucks.
