The S66 PowerAssist MultiTool by SOG is one sweet piece of equipment. It combines all the usefulness of a standard multitool with some nice upgrades. First off, the 2 main blades (standard and serrated) are externally accessible. That in it off itself is not revolutionary but SOG stepped up their game by adding assisted opening. Just start the opening motion and the springs take over quickly locking the blade into place. The goodness continues with the company’s proprietary internal gear drive system that multiplies the closing force of the pliers, cutter, and crimpers making even tough jobs easy to complete. Finally the company has incorporated its new Piano-Lock system that lets you open and lock each tool individually.
