Features include a 20 position chuck, variable speed trigger, LED light and a whopping 221 in. – lbs. of torque. Despite its size, this drill will be a strong competitor as an everyday tool and not just one for the travel case. If you don’t mind waiting, Amazon has the cheapest price we found, but its back ordered 4 to 8 weeks. For just $10 bucks more you can grab one at Ohio Power Tool, no waiting.

Hammer are for suckers. This Dewalt nailer has been part of our toolkit for a while and for good reason. Its battery operated, meaning we can take it anywhere, no air compressor needed. For us that is a must. The ability to quickly reconstruct a scene is priceless not to mention all the standard construction tasks this unit can handle. Bosch 12-Inch Dual Bevel Slide Miter Saw with Laser Tracking

Looking to upgrade your current miter saw? This model from Bosch is worthy of serious consideration. Features include a 12 inch dual bevel saw, tracking laser, miter range up to 52 degrees, and very stable cast iron base. The 5412L also features convenient up-front adjustments of all bevel and miter settings, a four-position handle, work hold-down clamps, two sliding fences, dust-collection bag, and built-in sliding extensions that support boards up to 40 inches long. The motor is equipped with an electric brake that stops the blade within a split second of releasing the trigger.

Milwaukee Right Angle Drill Attachment

Even the new ultra-compact line of drills and drivers have size limitations and some job simply require a right angle drill. The problem we had was our travel kit didn’t have room from multiple power tools. We needed a multi-tasker. This 1/4 -inch hex RAD attachment by Milwaukee was the solution. In fact, we like it a bit better than a stand alone unit for light duty jobs because its so small, giving us access to darn near anywhere.
